I've not ridden it yet, but quality and weight are acceptable, definitely at this price. There's some imperfections in the outer layer but that's just superficial. I will give a full review when it is built and ridden a few times

I wouldn't know 100% for sure, but I'm guessing it's to do with running one gear on your bike, and also (if it was) cold weather, plus the fact you rode first time this year. Ask Never-Stop as I'm sure the dude would've had the same thing happened as he rides fixed too.
